The fish you have in your system are saltwater fish. Saltwater is hard, that is what they require.
In a marine system, it is unusual for a need to arise to lower KH. Usually it is the other way round, a need to raise it, which is done with products with names such as alkalinity boost, KH booster, pH protector or similar. They are bicarbonates and carbonates.

What is your water measurement? KH or meq/l will do. If you do not have a test kit, you need an alkalinity one suitable for seawater.</description>
