Aqua Compare Has Had A Bit Of A Re-Design

A short while ago an upgrade was released in relation to the software we use behind Aqua Compare.

This upgrade basically makes the site easier to use and incorporates some quite good features. The upgrade has now been installed and the website modified so that the new features are actually visible. As well as enhancements to the front end new enhancements have also been added to the back end to make it easier for us to administer!

For those who have not heard of Aqua Compare it is basically a price comparison site purely for aquatic related products. There are a lot of shopping comparison sites on the internet however the majority of them are very broad and cover nearly everything you can purchase online. What John and I wanted to achieve when we thought of this idea was exactly the same principle but only for aquarium/pond related items.

Both John and I are quite pleased with the outcome of the site and believe that it is a valuable tool for people to use.

At present there are 11,297 products loaded into the system categorised into their associated categories and 72 online merchants selected for price comparison. We are always looking for new merchants to load into the system as we believe the more there are the more value it will provide. We are invsestigating the faesability of incorporating both Amazon and EBay into the site but at this moment in time we are not quite sure if it is possible.

If you are an online merchant or know of an online merchant which is not currently loaded into Aqua Compare then please contact us so that we can add them.

Why not pop over to Aqua Compare and check it out – we would love to hear any comments about it.

Thanks Jeffry and good to hear from you.

To be honest I will be glad when it is 100% complete so that I can get back to posting articles – think my Dad is getting a bit fed up with doing all of the posts!

    No I’m not!

It’s just that I have only one brain cell left nowadays and it tires more quickly!

    I agree – Peter’s done a very good job.
