Yes, that's another one I've seen (when on holiday of course) the one in Florida, The Living Seas. It was a while ago so has probably changed somewhat since then.
You're really 'wetting' my appetie for the Shedd Aquarium. I didn't know there were other interesting sounding attractions nearby.
Thanks for the invite. I may take it up one day......

John,

The Shedd Aquarium is a great place to spend a day or two. It is right on the Lake Michigan shore in Chicago and close to the Field Museum of Natural History, Adler Planetarium, and the Museum of Science and Industry. Let me know if you come to Chicago, we will have dinner.

Another great aquarium is the Living Seas exhibit at Epcot in Florida. Certified SCUBA divers can dive in the 6 million gallon tank. Lot of fun swimming with sharks and turtles.

Good post. I love public aquariums! I visited the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA earlier this year and I hope to visit another in SoCal this summer with my lady. Is there a website that lists all public aquariums and ranks them? That'd be sweet.

jeffry r. johnston's last blog post..Deal of the Week
